I'm not so sure, thinking about buying it... What are your guys thoughts?

This Unless I'll be able to find it + all the DLC its gonna have at 10$ or less, several years after release, I'm not getting it, I really wanted to finish Shep's story, but this is just a bad joke.Definitely not.

Preordered it on my bday, was not super blown away by the demo and I hate hearing this DLC crap is only for Collector Editions,etc.. but I do enjoy the story in ME1/2 so I will get this to see how the story is going forward, BUT... I have been VERY close to cancelling my preorder after this bs ea and bioware are pulling lately.
Looking forward to Risen2 more now to be honest, but I will give Bioware and ME3 a shot still. not expecting it to be as good as the previous two games or alot of roleplaying, but as I said before the story in this series does interest me a good deal.
Not even thinking about it. This DLC nonsense has to stop. i will not support such a thing, i can't. csftar

And to answer the original questions. Yes, I have had it preordered since the N7 edition was announced. Most people on the DLC issue are just butthurt that they are out of CE (which the devs told them would happen) and think that they should get the same content as the CE people did, while paying $20 less. IMO it's a big todoo about nothing. ME2 had day 1 DLC as well and the furor was much less dramatic. It probably has a lot to do with
the DLC companion being a Prothean
which to tell you the truth is not a huge deal for me. I am much more interested in the companions from the previous games, if they messed with that, yeah I would be pissed, but not with a ancillary character.

i left the Feelings in my other self. The One i killed. Seriously though, i'll just leave this here and be quiteAs much as I want to finish Shepards story I refuse to install Origin on my PC (don't try and debate this it is a waste of your time and mine). So no I won't be buying Mass Effect 3. I will probably just watch the ending on youtube.
Nope.
I disagree with many things surrounding the game's release like this Day 1 DLC cut-out of an important story/universe element(a Prothean squad member) and Bioware's attempts of defending it,inclusion of an unnecessary MP component, while Im also boycotting ALL products using Origin...
I also feel like the game is catering to the casuals way too much. Now I do understand how ME series was never supposed to be a "hardcore" RPG,but more of a light "space opera",but ME3 looks way too much like an ordinary TPS game...

ME2 had day 1 DLC as well but IT WAS FREE.
They SHOULD get the same content as the CE people did because CEs are for COLLECTORS. It means they contain that extra cherry for fans that are particularly attracted by the game. Not extra in-game content that SCREAMS being cut out for no reason.
I swear the more I read about people defending BioWare over this the harder I facepalm. Not a single one of you has a clue of what you're talking about. It's embarassing.
On topic, no I won't, not before the whole package goes below 30€.
First off I have not played ME 1 yet so I still have to do that before this one, second...no.
This whole DLC crap is just god awful and is just disgusting coming from both Bioware and EA. Unless of course the DLC ends up being crap (which I highly doubt, I mean...A @#$%ING ACTUAL PROTHEIAN!? DA HELL BIOWARE!?) then no, no Mass Effect 3 for this PC gamer.
Lol no. The story just looks like another crap "go gather allies and fight the enemy in the end" like Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age Origins. Come up with the original plots Bioware.

Well said. I agree with you 100%. I won't be buying ME3. This coming from someone who has purchased ME1 (360 and PC versions), ME2 (Xbox 360 and PC versions), Dragon Age Origins (360 and PC version), Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition (PC), Dragon Age 2 (PC), and nearly every game BioWare has made since the Baldur's gate days. So I f'n hate it when someone calls me a self-entitled gamer when I have probably supported BioWare more than these very hacks that insult me.
ME2, plain and simple came with the DLC on day one, FREE because of pure damage control. They knew then and there that there would have been an outrage. But with ME3, they don't seem to care. If it was just some stupid armor or weapon, I would have brushed it off. But it's actually an important DLC, of a core character. Sure, that character will be in the game, but I still have to go and shell out $10 in order to know more about his story. I'll buy it when there's an ultimate package for $20 or less.
Will buy the core game, which will have everything I need. The day one DLC business is incredibly lame, but thankfully I pretty much ignore all DLCs anyway. The only DLC I ever bought was the Shadow Broker.
Not at launch. I dont know about this DLC bussiness but I agree that it would be unethical for a DLC to include key plot elements but will see whether it does or not(just finnished ME1 so know the importance of protheans), but lets hope meet them in another way, shape or form.
Yep, I got the Deluxe DD pre-ordered. I got beef with the Day 1 DLC but hell it comes included in my package already. If the Day 1 DLC did not come with the CE or Deluxe DD then the answer is F no I would not buy the DLC or even consider it but yes I would still buy the core game. I don't plan on buying any DLC for ME3 at any cost. I did so with ME2 and I felt ripped off after spending so much money on the DLCs--I bought it all at once. DLCs just aren't worth the price, it's like $30-40 overall for like 4 missions that could've been done in less than 20 mins each. What a joke. I could've bought a brand new game/experience for cheaper than that--Deux Ex: Human Revolution for $13.
I'mslightlyannoyed that it's not available on Steam, it'snice to have most of my games in the same place. But yeah, I think I'll getit.I'm probably going to wait'till afterrelease, check out peoples opinions etc first (just in case). No way am I going to get the DLC though, didn't bother with any of the others.
