What they showed makes me want to wait. I think the base game will be good enough to play around in but it looks like modders are going to have a field day with this one. Everything about the foundation of the game (combat looks great so no need for deadly reflex-esque thing, UI looks good for me, random events means more dynamic mods, and good textures that let me avoid looking for a race mod that lets me make a decent looking woman) is great and will let modders fill it out with actual content. As to whether the actual content from Bethesda will be good, maybe but I don't know which is why I'm waiting.
Probably but I'll wait for a price drop. Too many games coming up: Diablo 3, Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3, Heart of the Swarm... :( Maybe even Red Orchestra but probably not.
After watching the Quakecon demo, hell yes!! This is the Elder Scrolls game to trump Morrowind, I can already feel it. Everything about it is adding up so nicely and Bethesda has done an amazing job. If you haven't watched the demo, please go check it out.
I suggest not getting it from steam just cause if it's anything like oblivion I remember trying to mod it and it was a pain in the butt literally. For some reason was harder to mod the version from steam. I ended up buying it again at bestbuy.

Steam version is quite simple to mod. I couldn't get the Oblivion Script Editor to work so idk i've talked with others about it who agree it's a pain but i guess everyone has their own opinions

no digital copy is worth $60 dollars...i don't need a time machine for that...get it?
I voted "wait for reviews"....but in truth I'll be waiting for user mods. The mods were what made Oblivion so great. I'll wait about a year for the community to develop the "OBscuros" equivalent to skyrim.
