i have 32 bit because i heard 64 bit cause alot of trouble runing games and alot of stuff arent supporting it.

wanted to know whats the + of 32 and what is the + of 64 bit

i know 64 bit is faster but how fast is it?

Theoretically 64-bit can go all the way to 128GB (If my mind remembers right), although no board supports that yet. Even 4GB of RAM with a graphics card benefits from it, and that's a fairly typical gaming machine.

only 3 gb in 32bit is usable evrything aboves needs 64 bit

Yeah, a 32 bit OS can only address 4 gb of memory, any extra memory will not be used. And correct me if I'm wrong but I think that 4 gb limit includes the video card memory. A 64 bit os can handle a lot of memory, Vista Ultimate for example supports 128 gb.

only probelm i have every had is Metro 2033 wont run on my new PC. i must confess it was a dodgy copy, but even after all the fixes and patches, i cant get it to load past the VERY first logo screen before crashing.....my friend with (different hardware) windows XP has no issues at all.

I have 64 bit and havent run into a game I can't play, except maybe some old games from 2001 or something.

For Example I have a 5870 1 GB. If i have 32 bit i'm only capable of using 3GB of Ram. Am i correct?NerubianWeaver

Yes. It's shared memory from ram and video. It makes no sense for gamers now a days to just use a 32 bit OS. Windows 7 comes with both in the ackage now anyway but use 64 bit.
