I know more or less what's the big difference - that x64 can see more then 4 GB memory - but when it comes to casual use - running programs and playing games - which would be better (or easier) to use?

Well any program that is compatible with Vista 64-bit, will work on Win 7 64-bit, and for games I believe using the 64-bit OS is better because 64-bit can utilise more of your ram 4gb+, making it possible to multitask with less slow down/play games while maybe looking on the internet with very little slow down. I would rather have plenty of RaM available for multitasking than hitting a roof in 32-bit.
Also 64-bit OS does support 32-bit codepaths.
64bit just equals the way of the furture. access to more ram and unlocking the full power of ur chips. once u go 64 u wont look back. IF you do have to go back, u'll feel like ur wasting something. I dunno what it is (placebo?) but using 64bit just feels so much better.
64 is looking to become much more mainstreamed with windows 7.
On vista i kept running into programs that werent compattible so i eventually just opted to switching back. I know its still early but i'm gona go out on a limp and say that both are finally on equal term with 64 obviously having a brighter future.
^I don't know dude, I have some generic USB linksys wireless adapter and it installed the driver automatically and it works fine.
