Guys my HP computer is haveing tectinical problems,Everytime i start the computer on a black screen pops up and it says :

Safe Mode

Safe Mode with Networking

Safe Mode with command prompt

Last known good configuration ( Your most Recent settings that worked )

Start windows normally

Okay thats the list bascilyIve tried everysingle one of those choices above.Yet everytime Windows Is done loading ( instead of the User login thing ) a Blue screen will pop up and then it goes back to the same exact black screen from the begging.Please please please this is seriously bad for many reasones.

stop using the button on the case to turn it off

but if you can't get past the blue screen you might check to see that all of your components are in correctly. if not you may just have to format.

Yeah i do use the button on the case sometimes.

And i can get pass the blue screen but the blue screen flashes extremely fast and then it goes back to the regular black screen with the safe mode things and stuff.

by regular you mean the boot mode choice screen right? yeah, then your not really getting past it. ok, have you opened it for any reason recently? i would just make sure all parts are in securely

Sounds like a corrupted boot file, you'll need to put your XP disc in, boot from that and go to the repair console. Then type "chkdsk /f" Without the qoutes ^_^ Or it could be /r O_o One of the two :P

it definitely should have as you paid for it. it will say like operation disk or something. wont be just a straight up XP disk, it will be HP themed.

XP Disc?I dont even think my computer came with that:?

 

Umm, do you know if you have one lying around? It doesn't have to be a specific version, my Pro version worked on an OEM to use it for this purpose...

oh okay then yes i do have one,Ill deffinatly try this,but first i have to find it:PWish me luck,Ill keep you guys updated.
