this is kind of old. And most if not all of those people were not tech savy what so ever. I also wouldn't be surprised if they were all plants or the the whole thing was staged.

Uh, it's a site that promotes Windows Vista, and is run by Microsoft. You expected some "real experiences" on there?

Well, these are only people who have "heard" of bad things about Vista. Not people who have dealt with Vista. And these people have used Vista for a few seconds, 5 minutes if that Test Guy was nice? Come on. That's not enough to determine if it's good. Vista is still crap compared to XP. Only people who own and have used Vista on a regular basis would know, especially in gaming., you would know the chaos that Vista brings at your doorstep.

Now i run XP, but there is really noting bad about vista anymore. The htpc in the living room runs vista, and it is a good operating system as of now. Granted vista sucked in the begging, but to be fair, so did windows xp.

Only issue I have with Vista is the seperate types of Vista. Why do they need so many different versions?

I bought an Vista Business expecting it to be similar to XP professional only to find out that Micro$oft removed DVD codec from the business version so that I can't play DVDs (even retail versions of PowerDVD aren't able to play them). I finally found some Codec after a long intensive search. It works now, but I had to download almost 5 programs. I later found out that Micro$oft expected me to purchase THEIR DVD software... LOL! Companies like Micro$oft are the reason there are so many pirates.

UAC is also a worthless pile of junk, but that's not too difficult to turn off.

I agree, but if they had to install it on their own computers which are probably old they'd have a bad experience. Also this is old.
