Bug fixes (100+) New content (1-4 hours or so) New cinematics for the game (30min?) Some people say that there might maybe be some minor tweaks on the graphic here and there (but i cant confirm it as i have not played EE yet)What does the enhanced edition offer that the regular doesn't? I can't find a clear list.

I'm getting an access denied error message when I click patch_EE is ready to be installed at the bottom of the Witcher 2 launch window, guess i'll have to try later tonight.:(
I left a good chunk of the preload for tonight to download while sleeping
I didn't know it would be up already
Aw man :(
3 hours 40 mins remaining. I might just start again seeing as I only just started playing and havent finished act 1 yet. (done all the side quests, was about to start the main quest).darksusperia
Yeah you should. There is still a lot left to do and that's not even including the new stuff. If I were you I would restart just to make sure I didn't miss any of the new content
Wow, almost 10GB download, am I re-downloading the whole damn game with the patch or something?!jer_1No, apparently we are downloading 10GB of new content. So it'll bring the total GB usage of TW2 to around 24 GB.

I finished the game already so I don't think I could muster up the time to play it all again for the new content.

When I saw the ad for the EE on 360 I checked on steam and saw the update speil etc and it was only $54 I just brought it there and then and just waited. Wasnt to worried about it going on sale as 50ish is nothing for a game here in Aus. They're selling the 360 version for 80 bucks. Steam still want $80 for Anno 2070 (I grabbed it for $55 from ebgames right when it came out). Gotta love PC game pricing.

Sorry about that. :P[QUOTE="FelipeInside"] I suggest reading Wikipedia to know the story of the first. Then head over to YouTube to watch the cinematics.FelipeInside
Downloaded for 2 hours, then I get an error message when I try to install. W2 automatically reverts to older version. Awesome. That was well my bandwidth.
I had the patch pre-downloaded but it kept saying my installation was corrupt. :((Which is weird, because it plays just fine.)
Gonna have to dig out my collector's box and reinstall.
A small part of the auto download is corrupt. Download part 2 manually and put it in the auto download folder and overwrite. Then run the downloader again. It will work.
Well take it for what you will guys, but my "The Witcher 2" folder is now 23.1 GB large (with the mobus content folder being 4.82 GB in size) the game really have gotten some 9 GB aditional content O.o thats alot. Mostly cinematic I suppose. saw the discussion higher up, and thought I would give a heads up, it is not downloading everything again (like it did in the earlier patches) this really is the mother of patches Ive seen O.o
OMG downloading it right now.
10 gb download, is it downlaoding the whole game again or is the patch really that big?
Downloading from GoG but it's stuck at 14.94GB and refuses to download the last .05GB left. Been stuck at it for two hours.
I had problems installing the patch so i redownloaded the whole game as EE but thing is it's finished the original download size( about 15gbs ) and is still downloading for some reason , the files containing folder is over 33 gbs and the thing is still downloading , idk whether to cancel or what . Anyone else getting this ?
Argh when I try to install it gives me an error, and now even after rolling back the changes the game won't start.... Re-installing just yielded the same error as the game auto updates, unless I want to play version 1.0, which I don't.gamebreakerz__
Read my post above for the solution.
Downloading now. I'll resume my second playthrough (a good ways into Act 2) seeing how most of the new content is in the last act.
Just downloaded the patch with no problems at all and now it's installing. Taking forever though but at least I got it downloaded :P
downloaded and installed with no problems. deleted all my saves to start again. i only played it for about 10 mins mind so i cant say if theres any huge difference yet (though nice new intro :). the lighting seems a bit better in places but so far everything else looks the same. unfortunately they did not improve the detail draw distance :(. still..looking forward to getting stuck in.osan0
They didn't change the visuals on PC sadly. I was hoping for some of those new lighting fixes in certain areas where sometimes it's all green or all blue. But the new content so far as far as flotsam is minimal.

They added ducks to flotsam :P Anyways, it is dissapointing that they didn't update the lighting, the only changes i noticed were sunshafts in certain areas they weren't before, and more use of bokeh with a larger variable kernel size.[QUOTE="seanmcloughlin"][QUOTE="osan0"]downloaded and installed with no problems. deleted all my saves to start again. i only played it for about 10 mins mind so i cant say if theres any huge difference yet (though nice new intro :). the lighting seems a bit better in places but so far everything else looks the same. unfortunately they did not improve the detail draw distance :(. still..looking forward to getting stuck in.ferret-gamer

Cos I remember the quacking before I think
Anyway yeah some parts of the 360 version dare I say look better colour wise. The lighting is a huge step backwards but the colours in some scenes are better.
