@insane_metalist: No crossfire profile no game for me.

Although I'll be upgrading gpu soon to new amd series or a 980\970

Since AMD's line up is around the corner, just wait until it's out and then pick whatever suits your budget/performance. You could use a GPU upgrade. I bet it's annoying when a game doesn't support CFX. I don't experience that since even a single 290 has no problem running games @ 1440P (for the most part).

I'm amazed that this game runs at mostly solid 30 fps on a q8400 quad core, 4gb ram, gtx 460 on 1440x900, low settings except SSAO on, water on ultra for the physics, and textures on medium. I get absolutely no stuttering or anything too, though maybe in Novigrad it's gonna be another story.

yeah its annoying, 7850 in crossfire is enough for any game providing the game works well with crossfire. I'll see what the best deal is once AMD release their new cards.

PC patch experiences? C'mon, you guys are slackin'. Does it improve the KB + M controls? Because I really, really, don't want to plug a 99%/peasant game controller into my self-built Race of Mastery Gaming PC.

Just kidding!

Sort of.

But I would like some patch reports.....

lol this one of the most unoptimized games ever

I am forced to play at a peasant res(1080p) because CDPR couldn't optimize for shit.

GTA V looks 10x better and runs 3x as good

4k@50-60fps maxed out(high grass,no msaa) on a single card

I agree with you 100% on everything you typed. Very unoptimized game, GTA5 looks way way better with far more going on and runs amazingly. I have hope CDPR continues to work on this game in the optimization department.

I haven't noticed any difference in performance with the 1.03 patch so far. The game never struggled on my rig though. Maybe performance in cinematics has improved a little, but I haven't triggered many yet.

Maybe it's just a "relative" thing, but I think the controls are pretty good. I mean, it's complex-ish. But very responsive. TW2 was bad on M&K IMO. TW3 is not. And I like having to think about combat... games like Skyrim where it's basically "pick your weapon or spell and click a lot" feel less engaging

same here. I like the combat and controls feel quite good ( really like using alt to dodge where as in W2 all you did was basically rolling ).

Cool guide to help decide and understand better different graphical options and their performance impact with the game.
