Witcher keeps crashing!!!!HELP ME PLAY

ok this great game wont let me enjoy it, the stupid thing keeps crashing. Im running vist adn have above the recommended requirements.

what can I do to stop the crashes

Install the required hotfix for Vista - should be in the readme.

Update to the latest video drivers.

Run the game in windowed mode.

The windowed mode trick seems to work for some people, often drastically reducing the number of crashes.
