Not even Crysis can match...
Guy ravages the entire world in fire yet 25 run of the mill adventures will end up killing him by the end of the xpack woo.
10 adventures you mean I like this cinematic but WOTLK is still the best by far.Guy ravages the entire world in fire yet 25 run of the mill adventures will end up killing him by the end of the xpack woo.

HAHAHAHAHA sooooo excited!
It was awesome seeing Aberdine, Barrens, Stormwind, and the Wetlands just get wrecked. Gonna be soooo awesome!
Patch 4.0 has already been incredible, cannot wait to play Worgen!

It's called a "cinematic" for a reason.
I don't even want to watch it, out of concern that it will somehow lodge itself into my brain and, through some devious mechanism, get me to do the irrational thing and resubscribe, even though I know I would quickly grow bored playing it again.
*watches anyway* :P
Meh, I thought that was kind of boring compared to most of their cinematics. They sure put a lot of money into making a whole lot of nothing.
Yeah, the cinematic for a MMO is never a guy walking up to enemies and doing the same sequence of actions over and over again for each one, like 10,000 times in a row. :lol:As usual, totally awesome CGI... that was pretty epic. Too bad the game is nothing like that :D

They need to make Deathwing a 40 man raid only. It would increase the epicness. k0r3aN_pR1d3More like server wide event nothing short of a army of players or a gathering of the most powerful beings of azeroth should be able to take this guy down.
I'm coming back to WoW for this expansion...HAHAHAHAHA sooooo excited!

That'd be incredible.

What exactly is so special about that particular number? Hey, might as well make it a 500 person raid. The more people, the more epic, right?
There are plenty of MMOs that cater to people who want their MMO to be a full time job or whatever crazy masochistic ****. One of the reasons for WoW's success is that it doesn't demand that players obsess over the game in order to get anywhere in it.
Like I said, there are games for those people, but WoW is not that game. Maybe it sort of was that game when it started out, but I don't think that was ever really Blizzard's intention. They clearly wanted to create a MMO for the masses. I think the reason it was like that at the beginning was that they had a lack of endgame content anyway, so they needed to drag it out.
I don't play WoW anymore, but that's my take on it.
They're sicing him up so much, but 10 no lifers will kill him. He's supposed to be the size of deadwind pass, and he almost destroys Alexstrasza before she runs away in the game. I'd just feel awkward, not epic, after I kill this guy.shakmaster13You've seen the Deathwing fight already? AMAZING!

yea I came back after a 6-month break about two months ago; WoW is fun provided you take breaks from it, especially if you have been playing it for five years like I have lol.
The graphics and effects are better than WoW's previous cinematic.I don't even want to watch it, out of concern that it will somehow lodge itself into my brain and, through some devious mechanism, get me to do the irrational thing and resubscribe, even though I know I would quickly grow bored playing it again.

Because AQ and MC were 40 man fights.[QUOTE="StopThePresses"][QUOTE="k0r3aN_pR1d3"]They need to make Deathwing a 40 man raid only. It would increase the epicness. k0r3aN_pR1d3

Because AQ and MC were 40 man fights. Exactly. You just arbitrarily selected that number because it was already used.[QUOTE="Empirefrtw"][QUOTE="k0r3aN_pR1d3"]They need to make Deathwing a 40 man raid only. It just makes it more of a pain in the ass to assemble the group to begin with.
It's a MMO. What is he supposed to do? Fire insta-kill death rays that everyone has to be standing in exactly the right place to avoid? :PIt's sad to know that there's a strong chance Deathwing will be just another raid boss.

I'd rather have an (istanced) old AV/WG event with NPCs rather than a tank and spank + half a handful of abilities.
I mean, he's the friggin Aspect of the black dragonflight. He should be able to rip to shreds any humanoid with a single cleave.
I'm pretty sure that Blizz will do some sort of event similar to AQ opening. I'm also betting that the boss will involve alexstrasza since we know that she is already a big part of Cataclysm and even sits outside Grim Batol. At the end of the video you see the valley of heroes in stormwind too, which is where I think you might even see him at the end of the pre-expansion opening event where the alliance might have to help king wrynn and maybe the rest of the leaders fight him off.
Gamespot have the video up here too now.
Move over, frost theme. Get ready for lava theme. :PWhen that Dragon lands in Stormwind and everything starts falling, thats just epic....I cant wait for this game. Im soooo tired of the entire FROST theme aleady!
SRTtoZ
Seeing him fly over Azeroth is pretty awesome. Imagine if flight paths where that fast? :P. But I didn't care for the voice though.
Amazing, can't wait to play it.
Taking breaks from WoW is necessary, but only because it is so fun/engrossing that it becomes unhealthy. If you can control the WoW addiction it is easily the most immersive and fun game to date (IMO of course).
It's cool how he only knocks over the statue of Danath Trollbane, which leads me to believe that he will come back and take Stromgarde for the alliance since Blizzard has barely made any changes to Arathi in the beta.I'm pretty sure that Blizz will do some sort of event similar to AQ opening. Some sort of epic cinematic with the movie guy narrating, showing you running into town and talking to people with exclamation marks over their heads, clicking through quests and then going to slay lava boars or w/e.As usual, totally awesome CGI... that was pretty epic. WoW is too easy now..Blizzard has made the raiding so insanley easy now compared to what it used to be like. People that raided during Molten Core/Blackwing Lair days know what I'm talking about.
