Would you still be interested in HL2: EP3 in 2010

Well the news is that its probably more than 1 year away. Are you still gonna be interested in the game by early 2010?

I thought mid or late 2009, seems I underestimated valve again. My quiet thoughts are that they are trying to explain more story elements thus it's taking longer. 2010? Sure I'll preorder it if I'm still alive, can't miss half life 2.

There are going to be plenty of other games to keep me occupied until 2010.

I will, but let's face it people; Half-Life 2 Episode 3 will end with yet another cliffhanger, possibly with Gordon Freeman entering stasis again... and revisiting Alyx Vance when she's just an old hag in Half-Life 3.

They better update the source engine, cos it's going to look very very dated.couly

With each episode so far they have updated the engine, but this will be the most significant.

2009 or 2010, the difference doesn't matter that much to me, I'm sure I'll still be interested ;)

Episode 1 was probably an interest low point (relatively) in the series, I actually wasn't overly anticipating Episode 2. However, Episode 2 was in fact good enough to rope me right back in hardcore style. Bring on the next, baby!

I wiull always be interested in Episode Three. If I have to wait until 2010 then so be it. As long as the quality is there I can occupy my time until it hits shelves.

Of course. I would still be interested in it even if it came out in 2050.

im willing to bet thats exactly why its coming out in 2010.

Visuals may not be as important to Valve as it is to others devs (see sig), but they know it counts for something.

I don't understand why people would lose interest in a game because its release date is a little further away. I mean, sure, they might stop following its progress (not that there is much of that to follow anyway), but I can't understand why someone would not be interested in a game they want just because it's been delayed.

I was about to give an analogy using sex, but I decided against it. I decided to just mention the analogy, so that I didn't have to think of a good way of writing it out. Because you get it, right? Yeah, you get it.

Episode 2 was definitely the best singleplayer experience I've ever had in my life. No joke. If Episode 3 is as quality as Episode 2 and is bundled with another multiplayer remake and Portal 2, I'll crap my pants.

If you really care that much about the game, enough to be annoyed by spoilers, you should have played it buy now. It came out in 2007 iirc.
