Not that I don't appreciate their good cause and the fact that others paid a lot more money to buy all those games in the humble bundle, but I recon the same thing would have happenedĀ if I had paid the full price.
Anyway, Battlefield 3 crashed after I finished the first lvl of the campaign (at the 2nd loading screen, to be precise). It's the kind of crash that I get relatively often and when it happenes I have to reboot Windows, which I did but then the audio service was off (that never happened b4). Reinstalling the audio driver didn't help so I did a system restore, got the sound back, B3 was gone but I still had the game folder with all 20GB in it. Since I couldn't find anything like "setup.exe" I just clicked on "download" on Origin thinking it would say "100% complete", but it deleted the whole folder. Out of despair i undid the system restore but only got 100MB back.
I know I should have been more carefull, but what's the deal with B3 screwing up Windows? Or is it just a coincidence? And if it happenes again, how do I fix the audio service issue?
