LOL HOLY CRAP! Your the first person I've ever heard say that.

My friends brother found this glitch in some area, he creates a new character... kills this "special" monster (looks like a butterfly) in some "special" realm and BOOM, level 70. talk about a precious time saver!

I never got into WoW, most MMO's just have too much of that "repetetive grind" imo.

Oh speaking of warhammer, anyone into the 40k series? I could care less about the regular warhammer, but they are gonna make an MMO for 40k, I'm trying to not get overhyped so when I realize that it mite just be the same as all the other MMO's out there, but knowing 40k it may have a more "brutal" twist, I won't get dissapointed. Still excited :D

I quit WoW months ago but I still haven't uninstalled it. I can't bring myself to do it. You're farther along in recovery then me.

[QUOTE="Dogswithguns"]Youre going back in two years?...... can you quit WoW completely forever?mrbojangles25

Sure, for the sake of nostalgia maybe. Ill be a working man by then and 13 bucks a month wont be any big deal to me, so I can afford to play maybe 14 days out of the month.

i don't know.....i thought so too when i was fresh outta the college....now, working as magazine writer, i'd have to be extrememly lucky to be able to get 20 hours play time in a month, wow or anything else.

reminds me of how people used to brag about time management and balance between work and game --they can have my job and try balancing things out. lol, be my guest......

Ya I just graduated college myself, which is another reason I quit...dont want to miss any job opportunites because I was in the middle of a raid and didnt answer my phone.

Anyway, thats another thing I realized about WoW. To truly get your worth out of it, you need a lot of free time. Not more than four months ago I was taking 16-20 units of classes and working 40+ hours as a cook, and looking back I really wasted those 15 bucks a month.

Like I said, I dont regret it as I had a lot of fun and good times, but I could have been a bit smarter with my money. Maybe I could have been 9000 bucks in debt as opposed to 10000.

I quit, went back, sold my account, bought a new one, quit again, went back and finally about 4 months ago quit for good and uninstalled it. Since then my social life has gone through the roof, my wife loves me again and im playing a whole range of different games with different people.

Best of all, I don't miss playing it one single bit, which after 3years of my life is some going!

I quit WoW like over a year ago and have never been back since. My sentiments are exactly like your MrB, just plain lost interest. And like you, I have no reservations about it either. I enjoyed the road to 60, and had a great amount of fun playing.

Lvl 60 raiding was just not for me. WAAAAAY too much of a time requirement, couple that with the fact the even after investing 4-5 hours straight in a 40 man instance, chances are you WONT get a item anyways. Screw that :P
