I have tried just about every trial out there for the "big name" MMOs (Anarachy Online, SW Galaxies, Everquest 2, Archlord, etc) and WoW is the only good one from my experience.

WoW is probally my favorite, but I still have enjoyed a few other. Asheron's Call 2 (my first MMO, so it hold a special place in my heart) Anarchy Online (pretty good, enjoyed the complexity) DDO (fun, but server was dead, and in a game that requires group play...that is a no go) Dark Age of Camelot (didn't like it, although I hear the pvp was it's high point, but I never got that far) Free MMO's (The ALL suck)

I'm sorry have you not experianced the customer support? Have you not seen the fact that the servers cant even handle 100-200 people in the same area (AKA Faction raiding) without crashing, oh and the fact that considering the population hotfixes take 2-3 months or even longer. I've long since cared, but you can never get the actual numbers, you know the 8 million players is completely and utterly "Situational" in belief and far from accurate. Not from my arse, its widely known to those that bother, there was an entire website devoted to it back in the first year, with the creators that had connections with Blizzard employees.

Server? Well, WoW is a great game (IMO), but it takes up ALOT of time. I have 82 days 3 hours on my warrior, and 36 days 5 hours on my warlock. Especially once you get to 70 and start end game raiding. You'll be in dungeons with 24 other people for a good 5 hours.

Edit: I also see alot of mention of Guildwars in this thread. I used to play that game, it was awesome, and has great PvP. But the thing with guildwars is that there just isn't that many things to do after you hit lvl 20 and finish up all the missions from expansions/whatnot. I may just be a PvP hater, but I got tired of it quickly, and moved onto WoW

what u have just said, in other words is: WOW is a kickass game until lvl 70, but then it gets dull. I agree. WOW is indeed an excellent game that gets boring after u max several characters, however before it'll bore u it'll provide hundreds hours of fun.

Whatever helps you justify it it.... Battlegrounds, were created, because of this very problem, everything now is isntanced even Reputation grinds, flying mounts now prevent any out-door PvP whatsoever, but next you will be telling me i'm wrong and out-door PvP is plentiful right? >>

Are you high or something? Where are you getting this crap? Battle Grounds were created to have a centralized place to do PvP. Flying mounts prevent out door PvP? Whatsoever? WoW is the second best mmorpg. it would be best but, at least compared to #1 mmo, DoAC, it is very small and short, with limited stuff to do after max lvl.

What proof can I offer of in-game gameplay? its ridiculous how blind defending Dnuggs is, sheesh I've been playing for 2 years and *was* a fan boy, the game has had flaws, some fixed, some made worse, its bashing al-right, apperently a forum is about 2-sided debate, Dnuggs rushes to defend, saying "No" to everything I say yet doesnt show any proof I'm false either? Flying mounts dont damage PvP? Ok so what is flying above ground un-attackable doing then? Whats "SANCTUARY" city of Shattarath doing then? seriously wake up, its gone from PVP/PVE even to PVE with afterthought, now I too agree that PvP isnt the biggest part of a MMO , but neither should picking flowers for ours straight to have enough power to fight the top-end bosses is just as ridiculous, look how long it took them to fix Gruul... Bashing with experiance here.

Oh cmon, perfect example of a useless come-back, you know perfectly well what he meant, your only really PvPing when you are the max level, wether it was 60 or 70, and BAttlegrounds, since Arena came have dropped ALOT due to pathetic rewards and insane mark/honor grind, Arena is the most unbalanced pile of garbage in existance. PvE game, PvP After-thought, and the PvE is a backwards step from Final Fantasy Online xD now that made you press more than 2 buttons a raid situation, shame about the huge time-sinks.

Bah this sint worth the time, but seriously did I say nobody did? Its taken a drastic fall in battleground servers up, and Arena is based on Rock/paper/scissors or Raiders kill anyone with superior gear, the rating system is ahrd on casuals, and the 5-man Dungeon Blues are better than the PvP Honor sets.... Something of a abit more substance please.
