For a start, you need to look up the meaning of linear and figure out the relation of the word to games.

She stopped playing the game a while ago and you started an argument (or so you say) about the game just yesterday.

And yeah, this is definately a trolling topic, you admit it, then you deny it, make up your mind what you want to stick with, but we all know what your intentions were when you started the topic.

Canceling her account which she pays for is a bad idea and will most likely make her mad. That is not the way to fix this problem. There is nothing wrong with her liking WoW, you should be glad she is into video games. You just need to explain to her that she needs to limit the amount that she plays, humans > games.

First thing though, reactivate her account. That was a very immature thing to do.

You see my girlfriend is an avid WoW player and has been playing for 2 years i think?

And yesterday we got over a fight about it -_-

a fight over WoW...amazing huh?

but anyways she thinks its this wonderful game and its like the greatest thing ever since sliced bread.

and she was raving about the new expansion coming out.

but i told her it was complete garbage and that it was boring and repetitive, and had no depth to it.

So she gets all butt hurt about it.

And mind you, i've played WoW just to please her, and stopped at lvl 33ish cause i got sick of it.

So anyways yesterday, i ended up cancelling her wow account, and set up come parental controls on it so it wont ever let her play, and changed her password and email to my own.

i was just wondering what i should do now?

should i just give it back to her and let her play?

or wait it out and see what happens?

It doesnt sound like she's addicted to WoW and wont do anything else, but rather, you hate the game, and she loves it, so you argue about it all the time.

You have a problem if your so pissed that she enjoys WoW. And you take it to the point where you canceled her account, did some crap with parental controls, and changed her password and her email to yours.

Your being a jerk. Let her play, you have no right to take away something she enjoys just because you dont enjoy it.

If it was my GF, I'd let her play as long as it doesn't affect her responsibilities like working! If it's affecting the relationship where all she wants to do is play WOW and not go out, then you guys might have to sit down and talk to each other, in a civilized fashion. No need to argue like little children. That get's you no where. You're better off walking away and cooling off.

I would give back her account. What you did is controlling, and you're basically babying her. The last thing anyone wants in a relationship is someone who is a dictator and control freak that tells the other person what to do. Do that more, and she won't be around any longer. no kidding.... if he did that after a fight, he is a very vindictive person.... you dont just DO that to someone you care about, you sit down and talk, and try to work it out. if you cant work it out, then you guys just arent right for eachother and you should move on. either way, if she seems "addicted" you should ask her to seek help. if she refuses, then you have done all that you can, and again, you should move on.... 55% of the worlds population is female... im sure there is someone else out there for you.

First and foremost, this has nothing to do with WoW.

Your girlfriend really likes something so you take it away from her? You fail, period. If you can't see this you REALLY need help and if she's still with you then she REALLY needs help.
