Wow... short fuse there, pal. Post a link. I don't believe "they". And I know for a fact that Blizzard hasn't said a thing.

The news on GS was in a section called "the rumor mill". Figure that one out for yourself. Also, Blizzard has always stated that if the news doesn't come from them, it's not news.
It's not my fault you believe every rumor that comes down the pike.
Infact here they are:

Even tho they aint esact dates or anything he said about a new starcraft game and a new mmorpg and even a new diablo game.
Ignore mthe part of me saying 2008.
All they said is when they make another mmo it wont be like WoW, they didn't say they are working on a MMO, and all they said about starcraft and diablo is they haven't forgot about there fans.Infact here they are:

I dont want anything but Starcraft 2.
If its not Starcraft 2, it better be something new. I am beginning to ask myself how much Blizzard affects Warcraft, or how much Warcraft affects Blizzard.
Personally, I want an FPS-RPG built in the style of Deus Ex. Blizzard's games have awesome stories, and they certainly have the talent and diversity.
Blizzard needs to open up a separate MMO studio to focus exclusively on MMO's, and get back to making some RTS/Action RPG games.apanizoThey allready have. They have 3 or 4 separate dev teams infact. The old Blizzard North that worked on Diablo (no official word on what they're doing, but they're probably not working on WoW), then two teams which had worked on SC and old WC games; they were likely merged to work on WoW. Then there is Blizzard Console which was Swingin' Ape Studios before Blizzard bought them out to work on SC: Ghost.
all of this is totally speculative based on my knowledge of blizzard and my understanding of the industry as a whole, i have no proof of anything and cannot cite any sources to support anythingWhat he said. ^ ^
the world of warcraft fanbase is still rapidly expanding - and if blizz was to put out another MMO any time soon, it would just end up competing with wow - whether it's diablo, starcraft or a new ip, any blizz mmo will not compliment wow very well for the simple reason that the wow fanbase is the blizzard fanbase, and most people don't like playing more than one mmo - so all they'd be doing is splitting their fanbase of x million over 2 games (with nearly double the development costs (a lot of technology would be re-usable i'd guess))
so it isn't in blizzard's best interest to put out another mmo any time soon - at least not until the wow popularity begins to curve downward instead of being a vertical line - i'd say wow has at least 4 more expansions before we even hear official word of a new mmo coming
that aside, blizz isn't exactly well known for new IPs so we can probably write that one out - it's gonna be diablo 3 or starcraft 2, period - most likely both are in development right now
if i had to guess, the more i think about it the more i'd say starcraft 2 is more likely to hit the shelves first, the vast majority of the diablo 2 fanbase is either devoted to wow or eagerly anticipating hellgate: london (does anyone even care about diablo 3?) while the rts market is far easier to corner, warcraft 3 has a very loyal hardcore fanbase even now, and almost all of them are eagerly awaiting starcraft 2
i'd say starcraft 2 is the most likely, probably 2009, followed by diablo 3 in 2010 or 2011, and we'll probably see a new wow expansion every 18 to 24 months, and there'll probably be a new mmo well into development by the time diablo 3 is on the shelves that, while naturally a rival to wow, will probably try and compliment it by having a very different setting or gameplay focus (world of starcraft isn't exactly unlikely, all things considered)
