WoW vs. Age of Conan

Age of Conan is a joke. I owned it and returned it after a month. After I left Tortage I had to FORCE myself to keep playing because I knew I just wasted 50 bucks on a buggy piece of ****. Sure, let's make all the classes equal but nerf the tanking class so he can't take any damage. Also, the "patches" to fix the countless bugs are in fact making the game more broken. Also, there is absolutely no endgame. So all you have to do is make countless alts and wait for funcom to get its act together. Warhammer in beta is better then AoC at release...

I do too, but AoC has truler proved us wrong haven't they? instancing EVERYTHING - and worse yet, the map doesn't even match the actual world.

eg. you see a door - you enter it - it instaces/teleports you - open your map - you're on the opposite side of the map of where you just were.

wat do u mean my instancing everything like loading screens between zones and to enter towns and stuff i dnt know wat u mean all i know instance to be is like wow instance

Both are phenominal, and i am the BIGGEST AGE OF CONAN FANBOY! And a huge WoW fanboy so yah.... lol

But nothing compares to the legacy or World Of Warcraft, if you accually understand the game, and how much their is too do and its phenominon, you would agree its a legend.

But fun? Would you rather chop off heads with blood flying everywhere and eat hearts or, well whatever a WoW character can do, so can an age of conan character.

Watch the video reviews, Kevin agrees that after the bugs are fixed, Age Of Conan will be, hands down the greatest online rpg on the matket

The thing is, Age Of Conan is a brutal, bloody, dark incredibly awesome mature world.

World Of Warcraft is totally different.

Like I've said 3 times, depends on your server choice and also if you pick Horde or Alliance

Same...I have never really had any major problems with the community most on my server are helpful non-eliteist and overall generally good to talk to. I perfer WoW but I'm probly switching to WAR I like PvP too much and...WoW's pvp is less then I hoped for.

Leveling in WoW is so freaking boring, imo.

It's like eating glue and watching Epic Movie at the same time. Torture. The end-game is quite fun though...But I quit a few months ago. :\

Yeah. The leveling/grinding part makes me want to hurl. And believe me, I've done a lot of grinding in my days. More than some people who still play the game today.. And I quit about 2 years ago.

They play Identical, only AoC is substancless crap.

I think AoC had tremendous potential...but in the end did not deliver a compelling experience. That's not to say I hated the game...I had a great time up to around level 60.

Anyways, WoW for me was fantastic. It hooked me almost immediatly and didn't let go for months. I REALLY enjoyed playing until I reached max level and did a few raids. Way too time consuming for me...I have too many responsibilities so I can sit in front of the computer for 4-5 hours at a time. Although even if I could I don't think I would.

Comparatively, WoW was in a heck of a lot better state than AoC at launch. By far.

But again, WoW is also much older and has an expansion with a second one due out soon.

AoC, if it ever wants to compete, has a LONG way to go. We can hope that it gets better, but honestly, I think most people gave up and stopped caring. They either are going back to WoW, or going to play WAR.
