I just got my new ram from newegg, (Kingston DDR2 667 2GB x 2). The problem is, I ORDERED the 1006mHz ones. I just wanted to know, is there a huge difference in terms of performance? I guess the only upside to this is I have some old 667mHz DDR2's laying around, and I have 2 extra slots on my MoBo. BTW, my MoBo says it's standard memory is 1006. Are they compatable?

Im not sure if they are compatable, but the performance difference will be there, but not much.

They should work just fine. And you will see basically zero performance difference.

But if you paid for 1066, then send it back and get what you paid for, or see if Newegg will make it right somehow.

They charged me for the 667's, not sure how they messed the 2 up. So there wouldn't be much difference, even for things like video-editing or gaming (specifically Crysis)?

RAM doesn't have as much of an impact on gaming as it does on other applications, so little to no difference. Multitasking between other applications and/or using them may show performance increase.
