well i'm buying a xfx9600 gso , and i have a 350 watts supply so, i have to up grade my PSU or i can just use it?

and i have

E2180 @ 3.0 GHZ

xfx 630i Mobo

xms 2 GB/800 corsair.

At which settings i can play games on this rig?

Note: i can't afford a GPU more expensive than this, but if u have any alternative thought like any ATI card , i will gladly appritiate it , but the price of that card should b near as compare to xfx 9600 gso.

thanks :)

im pretty sure the 4670 has similar performance and you can run the 4670 on pretty much any PSU.

XFX say 400W minimum for them cards (I have 1 myself) but you might just scrape through with it, what exactly is your PSU? depending on quality its touch and go due to that overclock, without the OC you would probably get through fine.

What res you playing at? and what games?

I can max most games at 1280x800 with 50-60fps, eg COD5 maxed out 50-60, take AF off 60-70, take AA off 80+.

Take the 4670 its more powerfull but still think you would have to change your PSU, the 4670 is along similar lines to 9600gt and 3870

If it was a good quality 350w PSU, I would say you would be just fine, but some of the PSU's that are included with cases are absolutely horrible. But I am running a 9600GSO in my second rig on a 380w PSU, but it is an Antec Earthwatts, and can easily handle the system.

If you get the 4670 don't get the 1 GB Version, Get the 512MB

This card is very good, I run it on a 300W PSU

Thats not even true...ATI cards perform just as well as nvidia cards in pretty much any game, dont be fooled by the "optimized for Nvidia/Intel" bull.
