Runescape is possible the worst online game I ever played. I didn't even bother finishing the tutorial once I realized I would have to be cooking and mining in this game.
I have a lv 64 account, but I have not played in over a year. Runescape is only for people who can't afford WoW or the latest PC games.linkthewindow
It's just a browser game, casual...like Maple Story, you're not gonna find people on this forum playing runescape, we're always talking about Crysis and things like that.

If you would have, then you would know what utter crap that is. And almost every else mmorpg is better then that. I wouldn't waste time playing that, even if they would pay for me to play.
runescape is kind of fun like its a good game for people with bad slow computers who cant run any of the good computer games and it is fun because i like role-playing games
I had played for a while (I think I reached the mid 50's for level), but eventually got a job and couldn't sit around a play that much. It was a fun little game for awhile, but I didn't want to pay for it to get the extra bonuses, and some of the people on there were complete twits. I can only take so much spam, and I think the fact that Runescape is free attracts more of it, compared to something like a WoW.

runescape is the suxors played it through grade school got to lvl 44 dropped all my gear and armor and quit lol had full addy full rune and some other crap. i think is was like black armor or w/e.
then i purposly closed my account by spammin racial slurs using hacks and scamming people lol

And people like you are why it sucks.
It's not a fast game, and depends on a fair amount of patience and farming to get things. The game is just as much a social and economic game as it is a combat game. If that isn't your style, don't play it.
I played it...had a lvl 106 account but haven't been played it for a year. It wasn't because my computer didn't have good specs but because my friends played; if my friends weren't playing it, I probably would have thought it was a boring game too.
