[QUOTE="dakan45"]Gothic 4 Arcania.mrbojangles25
wow, realy?
I enjoyed Gothic 4, don't get me wrong, its just...so simple. Simplicity is a virtue in many genres, but not in RPGs in my opinion.
What made you enjoy it so much?
Well perhaps the fact that i couldnt care less if an rpg has dialogue options or factions or good/evil alligments or how hard/easy the combat is. Also i could care less if i cant steal stuff from houses or get captured. I just played it more or less like... oblivion, i gone around and slayed monsters like in diablo (without paying attention to much to the combat, just kill and kill) and looted every house for items like i did with fallout 2. :lol:Yay, I will be like the only one to say this but
Metro 2033
My top ten in no order (pc+console games) would be:
Metro 2033
Singularity
Super Meat Boy
Warhammer 40K: Chaos Rising
Stalker: Call Of Pripyat
Alan Wake
Darksiders
Heavy Rain
Enslaved: Odyssey To The West
Mass Effect 2
For me, it would be a huge tossup between Mass Effect 2, Halo: Reach, and Super Meat Boy.
Mass Effect 2 for its truly outstanding gameplay, its incredibly long and varying campaign, a well-presented story, great character interactions, and how your previous decisions in ME 1 affect the events in 2. Awesome.
Halo: Reach for the awesome shooting action, the great and intense storyline, the fantastic co-operative multiplayer, the fun-as-heck competitive multiplayer, and the beautiful soundtrack.
Super Meat Boy for its old-school, super-nail-bitingly-intense gameplay, it's sheer simplicity, and its downright enjoyabiliy (with a nice, catchy soundtrack thron in for good measure).
It's nearly impossible for me to rank those three; I love them all. They're all just so brilliant.
i loved mass effect 2, went with it even nominated it until i played medal of honor at the very end of the year. Why MOH its fresh and relevant, seriously, i think in a crowded FPS field with lots of outstanding ones, that's an achievement
