What is your favorite PC game of 2007 so far? How about your most anticipated?
My favorite game so far is World in Conflict. My most anticipated is Call of Duty 4.

Orange Box for sure, everything else has been a big letdown so far and i guess Crysis will do the same as it's been hyped too much, we're all expecting it to be better and more revolutionary than HL, when it wont be.Grantelicious
QFT, I agree completely. If I had to pick on game from the Orange Box I would say Ep.2 The AI on the hunters is absolutely devious. One of if not the smartest NPC enemies I have ever seen.

Shame about the AI on everything else in the game thought and even the scripting seems to be abit off in Episode 2, however it's still better than most. I hate it aswel when you run away at your pace and Alyx just stays behind or gets stuck somewhere, it's pretty annoying having to run in a certain place to get her to talk and contiunue on the level. I also didn't liek the arse kissing of the vorts because they're praising you for very simple puzzles and makes you think, they could do this easily. Also alot of the npc's give the invincible feeling and makes me wonder how we coul be losing the war when certain characters just can't die lol.
Portal or Overlord...I cant decided between the two. Both were very different, very refreshing, and very funny. I'd like to say one of those is my favorite....
...but Episode 2 is GOTY no doubt. Though it wont win since its an expansion.
Favorite Game so far: Unreal Tournament 3 DEMO!
Most anticipated: UT3, Crysis
Biggest letdown: CoD4 demo (its a CoD2 mod), Hellgate London
Of course none of these games are out yet.... but I've played the UT3 demo more frequently than any other game so far this year :)
hrm... I'd have to say the best game so far this year is Supreme Commander, hands down. It's probably my favorite game!!!
I'm looking forward to Crysis more than any other game... including Forged Aliance!!!
Crysis should be everyone's most anticipated game... otherwise Call of Duty 4
Bioshock was just so twisted and different, absolutely loved it.
Orange box wins for me, portal was the most fun I've ever had in a single player game. I've been gaming for around 10 years now :P
The expansion pack Medieval Total War 2: Kingdoms was outstanding, it's what I've played more than anything else.
I havn't played World in Conflict yet but highly likely to buy it at some stage before Xmas.
Overall very very happy with this year's games so far - has been a great year for the platform.
I guess the game which blew me away was World in Conflict simply because of its innovative system of resource and tactical aids I liked Tiberium Wars as well kind of reminded me Why I loved RTS to begin with and some of my favourite RTS Red Alert 2, Dark Regin and CnC tiberium wars.
I was disappointed by Company of Heroes: opposing fronts I expected something a little special like the last game. But it was more of the tried and tested.
What I am really looking forward to now is Crysis and Call of Duty 4.
And as far as RTS goes I am looking forward to Universe at War early December lets wait and see.
:P PEACE
World in Conflict is really that good?
Edit: almost forgot my favorite is half Life 2 Orange box and is waiting on Crysis.
hmm 2007 trying to think of all that game I bought in that last 10months. its easy to think of bioshock or hl2 ep2(both very good games) since that are new and fresh in my memory. someone else said overlordI found that game to bevery fun but I didnt play it longI got so far then stoped because somehting else came out that distracted me(I do that with most games) same with Company of Heroes. I would say call of juarez butI downloladed the euro ver. and that came out in 2006 even tho the US ver is a 2007 game. soI guess that games that I finished held my intrerest long enuff would be my favbut that not really the case because alotof gameI finished were too short(MoH:airborne) or offered nothing for me to play thru again(bioshock). So i guess my fav game would be STALKER even thou I didnt beat the game I fould it to be alot of fun and I still play itoften, just start a new game after a mod/patch.
so top 3 are STALKER,bioshock and lost planet
im waiting for Jericho and crysis
#1 game 2007 imo.
World in Conflict
Fast paced exhillerating gameplay. Made me love being a PC gamer once again. Every aspect of the game is top notch from the graphics to the interface and control scheme. Also one thing I'd like to add is that Massive entertainment which made the game has by far the most dedicated customer support and community involvement I have ever seen from any game bar none! When was the last time you got into a multiplayer game with a lead designer of a game and chatted with them realtime? Every other game maker out there should be watching what Massive does and start taking notes.
Looking forward to Kane and Lynch.

WIC for me as well. I was also amazed at the customer support in game. I also played a couple round with the MSV guys(devs) and I was amazed that they actually play their product in public servers.
