Mine musta been CS back in the day, i probally did try other games online before like Quake 3 and some others but they were really hard to setup for online gaming at the time. However my first TRUE Online game that i played for many years was RTCW MP in 2001 until everyone quit it for ET, best fps ever lol.

Asheron's Call blew me away the first time i saw it, so went out and bought my first (real) computer when i started having dreams about it..after seeing i in action for just 20 minutes! now i am hopelessly addicted to far too many online and offline games....ah well, i did not really need a social life beyond my wife anyway...

Mine first gmae I played online was a classic! Delta Force 2, The amazing thing is there are still some people playing the game! Like me.

Age of Empires III. I've been playing games for years, but I've only had broadband for the past year because it wasn't offered until then, and even then we had to dig the trenches for the line on our property (I live in a somewhat rural area). Age of empires II was one of the few games i could get to work with dial-up, and it had terrible lag. I had to join and start a game quickly before people could see what a terrible connection I had :P

The first I EVER played an MMO game was Maplestory .. Atleast that's how much I remmber. Before that , I played ONLY offline games.

The first PC gameI ever played online MP was Medal of Honor...ever since then ive been addicted to online MP FPS games.

Funny how many people say Diablo. Mine was Diablo as well. First game that made me love multi player was Quake 2 and Weapons Factory mod for Quake 2.

Youngins.... Quake 1 on my 28.8 bps modem.. the normal ping was 250 for everyone back then.. dunno how we played on it. Also LAN games of Doom, but never online.

The original Doom with my best friends mom. I loved tricking her to run next to a barrel and "accidentally" blowing her up. Man, I miss online co-op fps.

Not sure which came first, but Nascar 2 & 3 on TEN was my first. Raced in leagues then, and still do today. And Ultima Online was the other. What a stinkin waste of time UO was. I used to love the Ultima games, but going online just ruined it for me.
