What was the first game you ever played on a computer ?

For me it was Quake 2.

Yeah, Quake 2 for me too. Along with Redneck Rampage.

Wolfenstein 3D.

Quake 3 Arena Demo,first "true" game I ever played...

Curse of Monkey Island, talk about a great start.

I'm pretty sure it was some educational game. But aside from that I think Roller Coaster Tycoon was my first.

It depends on what you mean by "computer". If you mean anything starting with the 8086 and on then my first game, hrmmmm I'm not even sure what it was. It's probably something like those old D&D games or Kings Quest.

However you could define "computer" as the CoCo series from Radio Shack. Ya remember those? I had one of those while all my friends had the Vic-20. I don't even remember the name of the game but you flew a jet and dropped bombs. We played that one for an entire summer back in the day.

prince of persia... the very 1st one. A friend had it on a 3.5" floppy disc :)

Now I am not counting Commodore as PC... so.

My first PC was a Gateway back in 1999. My first PC game was Starcraft. Number two was Half Life. I started off pretty good. ;)

King's Quest 2.

Think it was Doom, couldn't figure it out so I quit :P. Starcraft is the 1st I put more than an hour into.

Starcraft used to play it at my cousin's house we only got to stay inside and play it on rainy days but it was fun that and a tomb raider game with spider people.

i dont know if this qualifies but oregon trails....yeah im kinda old! if youre talking relative pc games then ONI was i think my first one...

Raptor: Call of the Shadows.

To this day I love the game especially for its awesome soundtrack :D

It's been too long to remember, but it must've been something like Wolfenstein 3D or an early platformer, like Commander Keen.

However, the first 2 games I got when I switched back to PC gaming about 18 months ago I remember all too well: Crysis and STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl. Ahhh, good times. :)

This baby got me into PC gaming.

I guess not so I'll go with Age of Empires and Carmageddon.

Hero Might and Magic 1 and Red Alert 1

It could be some educational game or maybe even Hover! on Windows 95. Not sure what year I played Warcraft 2, Duke 3d, Quake1-2 and Doom, but they were all played around the same time. Either that or those were the only games I did play back then.
