Post up the video cards you've owned in your lifetime and maybe share if one of your video cards was extra special to you!

Radeon 9600XT - from my very first build
GeForce 6800GT - burnt out after 2 days. :(
GeForce MX440 - cheap card to hold me off until I returned the 6800gt
Radeon X850XT - replaced my burnt 6800gt
GeForce Go 8600M GT - got a gaming laptop, didn't really serve me well lol
Radeon X1600XT - x850xt starting artifacting, just a replacement
Radeon HD 4890 - What I'm using now on my latest build!

Soon: Radeon HD 6950 or GTX 560 ti

intel integrated on some old gateway

Geforce MX440 - allowed me to play GTA3 :D

ATI X800 SE 128mb - POS

ATI X800 256mb - allowed me to play oblivion, poorly

EVGA 8800 GTX - maxed every game around, but not at the best framerate. Was epic to finally see eye candy.

I now use a Sapphire 4870 1gb - Best deal ever @ $120

1998 machine:STB Velocity 128 8mb

2001machine: No idea :P

2004 machine ATI Mobilty Radeon 9000 32mb

2006 Machine: Intel GMA x3000 256mb (I know :P). It was actually worse than the radeon 9000 in some games. That wasn't the cards main purpose though. The computer was mainly used for word processing and a little Java Programming

2009 machine(current): Radeon 4650 1gb Overclocked

Next: Radeon HD6950

2006: Integrated

2007: Integrated

2008: XFX 8600GT 256MB(God I should've coughed up that $50 more for a 8800GT, I probably would still be using one now)

I only have a short history.

1.) GeForce4 MX 4000 PCI (64MB!) - I was in high school at the time and broke and was gaming on some crap PC my parents picked up from Costco, which ran on Intel Integrated GFX. (Yuck) The card was NOT PCI-E, but PCI. My computer lacked an AGP port at the time =( Was able to run Tribes, CS, and Deux Ex at 40+ FPS @ 1028 x 768!

2.) ATI Radeon 9700 128 MB - The card that turned the tides for ATI! Great value and great performance. Great times with this card and HL2, Postal 2, CS ****c, WoW.

3.) GeForce 8600GT- M - This was a descrete GPU on my current laptop that I originally bought for college. The performance was crazy considering the time (2007) and the fact that was in a notebook. Fun times with AOE 3, Bioshock, CS: Source, HL2: Ep 1 and 2, Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and WoW. The card itself fried during a crazy hot summer of WoW, and I am no longer able to play any games on it.

4.) Radeon 5770 1GB - My current card. Great performance considering the price. Too bad its bottlenecked by my CPU.

MX440 - My first...

Geforce 5800 - dont remember alot about this

Geforce 6600GT - Still probably the best card I've ever had

Geforce 7900GS- Crazy overclocker

ATI x700 - For a laptop I had, it was meh at best

ATI x1600 - Another laptop, worse than x700

Geforce 8800GTS - Its between this and 6600GT for best card, still using it to this day :)

Geforce 9650M GT - Laptop thats brilliant, and it overclocks withoutincreasing the temp to far

GTX470 - Awesome so far, and overclocks really well for some reason.

512MB 8600 GT Overclocked - Pretty good, used to play Half-Life 2, CoD4, and Company of Heroes

480 GTX - My first high-end video card, loved it so far.

Future video card: No idea lol, 480 GTX is good for 2 to 3 years.

1. - Radeon 9200 (pff, you ppl and your MX 440)

2. - 6600gt

3. - 7600gt (this and the 6600gt were my fav. cards, alot of power for the price)

4. - 8800gt (first high-end card)

5. - Radeon 4890, my current card and still runs games fairly high so I doubt i'll upgrade anytime soon

I believe my first dedicated card was an S3 Virge of some type, but i wasn't the one who installed it, so i left it out

Before this I have no idea what my computers had in them. My parents had two desktops before this that I wasn't allowed to use very much.

GeForce 5200 FX 128mb - Came stock in a Dell, parents arn't serious about gaming

GeForce 7300 Go 128mb - Bought for me in a Dell laptop in 2006, not a serious gaming machine, the laptop was intened to do school work with 2GB of DDR2 and a Core Duo

Between these two cards I played most of my games on first a GameCube, then a Xbox 360, a PS2 and finally a PS3. All but the GameCube were eventually sold.

AMD 5850 1GB - Current card, bought it to be able to play games seriously.

I didn't have a choice, Gamestop only would give me $10 for it.

Mobility radeon 9700 64mb...good times

geforce fx5800...dont remember much about it though...

2x7600gt, sli was a mess back then, and i was too young to get it to work properly, but still allowed me to play most stuff maxed at the time. Ahh, good ol 1280x1024 times, back when i thought antialiasing was crap.

G80 8800gts 640, I actually played crysis on this on very high, didnt even know what 'frame rate' means, result of this 'crysis therapy' as i like to call it is i can tolerate low frame rates even today.

gtx260 192sp hell of an overclocker, my first card after i knew what i was doing around computers, and i loved it.

HD5870 I used to love my 5870, despite the fan sounding like a petroleum operated fishing boat, would propably still have it but a chance came up to sell it for a great price and i got my current gtx580...i run furmark on it on cold days to warm up the room, but the game performance is absolutely extreme.
