Active online games?

I have recently started playing online, and the only onlin-capable games I have are Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2, Fifa World Cup 06, and Splinter Cell 3. They are not very active, and I guess it's because they are old games, would Fifa 07 be more active, for example, or is it just that not many people play Fifa online?

Secondly, could anyone recommend the best online PS2 games - not the best games that have online, but the best games with great online?

i am also looking for another on-line game cause i have had battlefield 2 for some time now.

I went online on fifa 2006 yesterday but nobody was on...or maybe it was too weird to figure out how to play online on fifa 2006 xD
