i stopped playing MGS2 for a few weeks because it was sort of hard, then one of my friends told me how to beat the game... turns out it wasnt that hard :|
I have alot of games that I have yet to beat. Mainly just got tired of them. The only game (and my friend agrees) that was just to redicously hard is probably Grandia 3.

I havent tried Grandia 3... but I want to know why do you say it's hard :o
only GH2, Psychobility freakout its soooo impossible with the controller (guitar its too expensive here...)
all other games that i stopped playing was bcause they were too boring
Edit: I just nailed Psychobility Freakout and YYZ... but the last songs are completely insane, only gonna make it if a kind soul donate me a guitar... =(
When i was a little more younger i was so impatient that when i thinked that some levels,bosses,etc. were very hard and i stopped playing them for a while. Luckily this almost never happened again still
Need for Speed Underground. I got stuck about halfway through on one particular race and it drove me mad. I did go back before I realised it was a crappy game and I really didn't care enough to try again.
I loved playing the tony hawk games, but I quit playing THAW because I didn't know what to do on the part where you try to get the roof off that building. It just didn't give you instuctions, I kept trying different things, but I just didn't know what buttons to press!:evil:
