Beated? C'mon, let's use proper grammar please :P. Anyway, that basically is it, unless you feel like loading that file up from the last Save location, and doing all the side quests. Or continuing the story with X-2. Or both, I guess.
I always prefer it when a game ends. Not a fan of the lets continue to play after we beat the final boss mentality, it just seems so pointless to play afterwards. Think you are watching some anime, the bad guy dies on episode 21 and they spend a further 5 episodes detailing character's lives after the main event, well who cares?mohmaaytah
I agree when it comes to games but not in animes or movies. Endings suck when credits start to roll up a few seconds after the bad guy dies or wedding in love stories. Hehe! I preferto see an extra 1 or 2 episodes or an epilogue.

I see where you are coming from and I dont mind if it handled well, so often we see them shamelessly trying to exploit the popularity of an anime so they stretch it for a few episodes when they know their content is less than the full 26 run. To me a game is complete when there is a satisfying ending, the boy married girl and they have little family cliche is annoying (Grandia III I am looking at you). If they want to go on beyond the game's final battle, they should make it relevant.
