Best character has to be Either KRATOS or Snake, agent 47 is awesome too..
Kratos:He's ruthless, tough, never gives up (he's died twice already), and he kills GODS. How much better can it get...
Then...
Solid Snake: You've gotta give the guy credit. He does a LOT of SHlT in MG2, helps people he doesn't even know (the russian woman) and a whole lot of other stuff i can't list due to lack of space.

Kennedy: I think he isn't PS2 exclusive but he still deserves some credit.
Kratos he doesnt care about others remember that one time in Pandoras Temple when he had to do a sacriface in the trails of posiden and he burned that incconent solider to death i kind of felt sorry for that soldier but in a way i was like how cool is Kratos
I'd have to say Cloud (KH1/2), Sephiroth (KH1/2), Leon (Squall, KH1/2), then Auron (FF10)...
As for Kratos, he is cool i admit, but why do pople keep saying its their fav cause he killed a GOD... clearly he wouldnt technically be considered as GOD if he is mortal...(im just saying)
