There are a bunch that come to mind. Although, I have to say, I wish people would stop confusing "blood splatter" for gore. The blood effect from hitting people has been around for quite some time now. You switch over to gore when, say, you snipe someone in Hitman: Blood Money and see brain splatter with the blood. People simply don't know the difference. Having said all that, I'd say Manhunt wins.
God of War 2 was pretty insane, but for gory I would have to say manhunt, I love where u slam Theseus' head in the door like 50 times in God of War 2 that was pretty violent, but manhunt is just ridiculous.
manhunt got boring very quick for me but you cant deny it of the most gore award.. gonna check out manhunt 2. hope it has more to offer. oh yeah.. Hitman bloodmoney and contracts could be very gorey/violent if you kill someone stealthy with a melee weapon.

I was going to say that, exactly. As much as GoW games are gorier in my opinion than Manhunt, it's totally over-the-top and a whole different feel. In Manhunt it feels like you could go out to the streets and perform the same actions. (not that the thought ever crossed my mind *rolleyes*). Gore, if realistic, is gorier. ^^Â
