I guess I'm surprised they didn't check before they took it back in.

I hope you enjoy making them feel guilty, if that sort of thing floats your boat. Because, you know, it's impressive to some people to make others feel guilt. Especially Gamestop employees.

Seriously, have you worked there before, or a place similar to it? You might want to try it before you want to try make them feel guilty. It's also a good practice to check the disc yourself before you leave the store, in the event they grabbed the wrong sleeve thinking it was the right one.

They'll have no problem exchanging it if you take it to another one. Just explain they gave you one from a different region and doesn't work. If they say they can't, they're breaking store policy.

I'm thinking this guy is from the States. In that case, PAL games wouldn't work in a US PS 2. How did a region 2 game get here in the first place? You'd think gamestop employees would know.

I saw a PAL version of Resident Evil 4 at an EB Games once. I hope the person who ended up buying it knew what they were buying.

You can take it to any EB or Gamestop as long as you have the receipt.

Y'know...I have enjoyed the eb's in my area. i have scored some great games for cheap and have never had a problem. Yeah, maybe the employees can be Grade A meatballs, but they always have a sweet collection of obscure and out of print games. I don't think you would have any issues returning it if you have a receit and are able to voice your discontent with the mix-up. I am sure they would help if they can.

not true. If it's affiliated with EBgames like Gamestop and you have the reciept, it should work fine.

That's what happened with me and my Ninja Gaiden Black story. One store didn't have it, so I went to another and told them my issue.
