Favorite RPG on PS2?

Final Fantasy X2 mostly sucks

imo DQVIII wasnt anything mind blowing i couldnt take any of the characters serious and the story was kind of linear...idk

id have to go with FFX and XII, all the .hacks, SMT: Nocturne and Persona 3, and KH 1 and 2 for pure enjoyment

i want to try xenosaga but i dont wanna be let down b/c i loved xenogears oh and im waiting for wild arms 5

shadow hearts covenant and ff x come a close second

Kindom hearts 2 then Final Fantasy 12 (it was damn frustrating but extremly pleasing at the same time)

final fantasy x, dragon quest 8, final fantasy xii, tales of the abyss. in that order...

Suikoden 3. I thought it was the most complete RPG of the console generation.

Right now I'm playing Persona 3, but i can't say anything because I haven't finished it yet.

So far, Champions of Norrath. I don't care a whole lot for JRPGs like I used to. FFXII seems to be fairly good from what little I've played it. I really like the combat changes for the game. It manages to capture the feel of playing in an MMO type group somewhat.

If you're counting hybrids, it would be Deus Ex. There's some annoying changes from the PC version, but it's still a great game on the PS2.
