with a slim PS2

-you cant play that final fantasy MMORPG which requires the hard drive

-some multitaps dont work for the slim

-slim can overheat if you play the PS2 for a long time

-slim is much less durable

actually the ps2 slim doesn't over-heat AS LONG AS you don't put it in a enclosed area. Shoving it inside an enclosed area will just kill the console....this is what they do at the display cases at the game-stores.

weve had our slim on overnight for 2-3 days straight at times and it never overheated, along with the countless straight hours of Socom, nothing bad ever happened to it.

Is there any advantage to haveing the slim over the fat, besides aesthetics, cause I am getting a fat mailed to me on Monday.

My black slim version of the PS2 doesnt recognises an PS1 memory card so I cant play PS1 games on it. The old fatty PS2 doesnt has this issue. I have heard that the silver slim version of PS2 has no problems with the PS1 memory cards but I cant confirm it.
