Look I absolutley dispise the gameplay that is featured in the MGS series mainly because of the camera and the braindead enemies. Well apparently they've fixed the camera problem, but I want to know if I didn't like MGS 3 would I like this? (This is strictly gameplay, I could care less about the goofy story).

I agree, you should go with something else. I think MGS is a series that you'll either love or ask what's the point and from your comments I think you're the latter. I would suggest getting a new game that you know you'll like, it doesn't sound like Subsistence is for you.
Well if you're buying games for the sake of stories I suppose thats alright, but dont forget that it is still a game. The story for MGS is alright but I think it is the gameplay for it that really counts and MGS3 by far was my favorite of all the other MGS games. I would def. purhase MGS3: Subsistence.
Buy it because the movies in the game are remade and some of the movies are halrious and if you hate it still sell it on ebay for a ricdiculous price and you will probably get that price dew to its popularity. I personaly love the gameplay on it since you have so much to do.
