i hope not cause i remeber i had my ps1 for 7 years and 2 years before that watching how the games shelf stocks kept decreasing. lucky me t finally died died and i got a PS2. only had it two years so i sure hope it doesn't outdate yet. that would stink a big one.
with all the new next gen consoles it seems like its kinda dying but i still love my ps2 dont get me wrong and ill keep buying games, like ROCK BAND!
And i really, really hope it doesnt die and all the nest gen consoles take over.

I've wondered this myself, but then again, I was confused when they came out with a slim white PS2. If the PS2 was dying, they wouldn't have done that.
