Only if Final Fantasy 13 come out in this year . Because Eternal Sonata , Blue Dragon , Lost Odyssy is going to come out in this next few months and I don't want to miss these 3 games for PS3 ( Which doesn't have any good RPG yet ).

I really wanted one until I found out the price. I don't want one any more because I got XBox 360 instead. A lot of the games coming out for PS3 will be on XBox 360 too.

Oh sorry, i was just trying to point that out to you. I don't think you're dumb, just didn't want anybody going to get a ps3 for those games, and then realize that they aren't even on ps3. :P
I know it's not an option here, but I already got one. Ohh and you need an option where it says "I want one and can get one " or "already have one" with out the but. Those up there seem like reasons you wouldn't get one and are all negative.
Since I've had my PS2 for less than a year, I won't be getting another console for a long time. But, wether it's in 2,3 or 4 years, if I'm getting a next-gen console, I have zero doubts that console will be a PS3. All the games I want (FFXIII, God of War III, DMC 4, Suikoden VI, Shadow of the Colossus 2, Beautiful Katamari, Heavenly Sword, Gran Turismo 5) are on PS3
Yea it is pretty obvious that if you like the playstation you will get a better one.(ps3) I have one and it is much better than my Xbox360. better graphics, sound, better controller, and better main screen things that starts up at the begining. The ps3 IS AWSOME.
I wanted to get one, but getting a x360 v 2 instead. P3 first of all costs too much, has lil to no good games at the time( exept for resistance) and they say that most ps3 exclusives will go multi platform (like dmc 3, gta 4, assasins creed), so its just not commpelling enough to buy.
What really stopped me from buying an X-Box 360 was Metal Gear Solid 4. I was always a little weary about the PS3, but now, the main concern is software. I'm going to give the next-gen machines more time to get some games, then I'll make a decision. (Who knows, manybe MGS4 will get that 360 port.)
Honestly, I don't want one. The price is just way above my budget. Plus the game collection is not very worthy right now. In the future there are probably a few games I would want like God of War III but that's not enough for a purchase.
I like the ps3 but I cannot see myself getting it due to the price. There are hardly any games for the system so its best to wait and by that time maybe the price will go down by then. I cannot see paying over $600 for a system with one or two good games.
I have been a PS2 owner since its release and I can safely say I have no interest in the PS3. Sorry, but I already have a Wii and a 360 and PS3 has no real advantages to 360.
I am thinking about buying a ps3, but it doesn't have enough games for it yet. i might even consider buying an xbox 360 because it has more games. if i get a ps3 the only games i am gettig are GTA4, and hopefully Final Fantasy 7.
I'm currently in the point of extracting all the life (games) the ps2 can offer and at the same time waiting for good games to come out for the ps3, so till then, me and my ps2 will be enjoying our time together. :D
My PS2 still has a ton of untapped games I have not played yet.
Shin Megami Tensei 3rd(Devil Army), Persona III, Odin Sphere, GOW II, Samurai Warriors II, Tales of the Abyss(If Cube Port rumors are not true), Possibly FFXII, Orochi Warrior.
 Not to mention my DS is fantastic and 360 seem to be the consule of choice for me. Next gen for the PS3 right now is looking grim if it is trying to win me over.
I just hope PS2 lasts for another 3 or 4 years so that more people are brought into the PS family and there will be even more who can potentially buy a PS3.
