is it a good enough game to buy and if you could point out the good stuff about the game, cuz so far i have been hearing bad stuff about it. thank you.
It was a fun shooter for me. The aiming in the game is not perfectly smooth and I didn't really notice until it was mentioned in a review that almost all ps2 shooters have this problem, but otherwise there's lots of cool weapons.
Few hours in at first I would give it a "Meh" but I'm really starting to dislike it. Thinking about reviewing it when I finsish it. As of now I would give it a 6.0. Bought it last week for 13 bucks so you wont be kicking yourself if you end up not liking it. If you think your interested you might as well pick it up while you can.

As for good.... Real awsome opening cut scene. And the Graphics and Sound are quite nice from what I played.
The bad. NPC's dont do there jobs sometimes and it makes you reset the game. Jimy wont move the barb wire fence for you. What's his face wont open the door. The aiming and overall movement of the character was just to slow for my liking. Didnt like the checkpoint system and although the guns sound real nice the Hellgast need a few more lines of dialouge. They keep repeating them selves and it get's annoying.
It's not amazing, and it has problems for sure, but it is sure to be cheap by now and it is a fun game. Good story. Great intro. Nice music and voicework. Great camera work really helps give it an evem grittier feel. Excellent use of sound makes it seem like a real war zone
I went back and tried out the online multiplayer again, and man, I totally forgot how bad it was. The framerate and texture detail both were so bad, it ruined the experience. Well, the game is only $20, and it is sadly still one of the best PS2 first-person shooters (which shows just how poor the FPS lineup for the PS2 really is).
