Well I'm into the rap and hip-hip stuff, but I want to try out this game. I saw the review for it, and my friend says it's awsome, plus I don't mind having a change in music. So should I get it?

Everyone who has played it seems to think it is awesome so I would if I had cash on me.  Also, apparently the track listing on Guitar Hero one is better but I suppose, if you don't listen to that kind of music it won't be an issue that much.

If I weren't in any Metal/Rock-related-music or something, I still would buy it. Its fun and addictive.

Hahaha, I agree - It's worth the money if you've got the coordination for it. It's hard, but it's extremely fun. In fact, you may want to start with Guitar Hero then work your way up to 2, since the sequel's not exactly for beginners.

Well...actually...GH2 is easier than one. You cant deny the fact the hammer-ons and pull-off are way easier this time. After all it doesnt matter: He should get them both. :D

Definitely get either/both games. The gameplay is fun, it's amazingly addictive, it's fun to play with friends, and it introduced me to a lot of new music (even though I was already into rock/metal). Two of the best PS2 games of all time, IMO.
