Hey guys, just got my ps2 slim and was wondering how long can I leave it on standby mode for without it overheating. Sorry if this has already been asked before.

If it does ever overheat...then your PS2 is broken....

I don't know an exact time, but I'd say its a really really long time.

The only time I ever turn it off on the back is when I move it. I've never had a problem.

my PS2 has been in stand by (red light) for monthes without turning it off...

it only starts to heat whenever i turn it on (green light)

I used to have a PS2 and left it on standby for like 3 or 2 years and nothing happened.

Leaving it in standby mode is fine. I wouldn't reccomend keeping it on for extended periods of time in gameplay mode though.
