i can't remember which game i played first because i bought God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Silent Hill 2, Dark Cloud 2 and Jak and Daxter at the same time, but i'm pretty sure i played Dark Cloud 2 first.
The first Fifa (was it '01 or '02?) on ps2 but since there were hardly any good games out that time, I ended upreusing the PS1 and its games... Dang its been that long! Jak &Dexter, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil Veronica and Metal Gear Solid 2 made me stop playing my PS1 games for good.
I think it was Kingdom Hearts on December 5th 2002 (a day before my birthday) when I got my PS2 + the game. I might've played on it before on a demo pod or something, though.
The first game I played on PS2 was Operation Desert Storm (EDIT: make that Conflict: Desert Storm) over at a friend's house. God, what a horrible game! I wound up getting my PS2 primarily for God of War and the MGS series.
