The most rare and expensive games on PS2.

Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga, original release of Disgaea, Growlanser Generations, Magna Carta soon enough. Shadow Hearts covenant is expensive for a game of its age. Suikoden III - V are not exactly rare at the moment but they will be in a few years.

For the PS1 there is Valkyrie Profile, Xenogears, Suikoden I and II, FF Tactics, Chrono Cross and Tactics Ogre/Ogre Battle. 

I know some of those are available as greatest hits but it doesnt count for me, the originals are still very expensive to get a hold of.

I have that game and I am selling it....

Oh and also if at all possible .. buy the PAL version of nocturne on ebay.. I got mine for 9$ plus 5$ shipping (dirt cheap) at the same time nocturne was going for 100$.. The good thing about the PAL version is that it has NTSC into it also so it'll work on ur TV.

People keep mentioning Disgaea but theres about 20 copies on ebay between $15 - 25 bucks. buy it nows up to 30-40 range but they are sealed copies. I got a copy at ebgames.com just yesterday. Perhaps the craze is over? m0ney78

A whole new production run was released, so it's widely available again. Anyone who missed it the first time around can now get it brand new for $29.99 directly from either Nippon Ichi Software America's online store (www.rosenqueen.com) or Atlus USA's store (http://www.atlus.com/cgi-bin/shop).

The person who put the price tag on that has NO idea what the game is worth. Buy it and sell it on ebay. You'll make over 1000% profit.

I have Disgaea: Hour of Darkness pretty good game didn't know it was a rarity these days.  Also had La Pucelle Tactics but didnt care much for that one traded it back when I was getting a 360 kept my Disgaea though!

While not a PS2 game, I noticed this yesterday.

Xbox Futurama game for $199. Nobody has a PS2 version for sale. So, it has to be rare.

Some of the games mentioned i saw can be found at www.gamestop.com but usually USED for exepnsive prices.

I say a rare game to find would be Marvel vs Capcom 2, you usually only buy those from individual people online.

But go to www.gamequestdirect.com they have a lot of rare or hard to find games that they sell new. But a bit pricey.
