GTA: SA. I played San Andreas first, now I'm playing Vice City. I like Vice City too, but it kinda bugs me that Tommy can't swim or scale fences like C.J.
Vice City. Even though it was kind of short, it had an awesome atmosphere to it and the city was a good size. I didnt mind San Andreas, but it took me a good 3 months of just running around the city before actually becoming familar enough to run around and do missions with any kind of ease.
San Andreas by far for me ...I purchased Vice city twice and i just couldnt stick with it I ended up taking it back to the store for a trade on both ocasions.....It just seems so limited especialy after playing SA....

Also quite outdated. Vice City isn't that great anymore. The lack of a rotating camera, unable to swim, no straffe, less variety and lots of cars, unable to hop walls, unable to customize your character, the radio stations are static and run on a continous repetetive loop. Vice City Stories, albeit still missing the straffe and wall hop feature, owns the original Vice City in every single way. Real fans (such as myself) who don't clamor on to the past consider VCS the second best game.Â
San Andreas by far. San Andreas had the best soundtrack out of all three GTAs for the PS2. That 80's music in Vice City was not cutting it with me. Maybe if I were older I could appreciate it, but I liked the San Anrdreas soundtrack more because that music was more from my lifetime. GTA IV will have modern music. I'm hoping they keep out southern rap music..I can't stand it. They should Liberty City represents NYC anyways. ;)
San Andreas - more indepth, larger environment, higher replay imo. I still like Vice City, mainly because i remember the 80s, but it's just too much of a limited game for me.
