Well if you got PS2 slim then you dont need an internet addapter but if you have a fat PS2 you will need to buy one. You also need broadband internet connection, a router is a good idea if you want to use internet on PC and play PS2 online at the same time but its not necesarry.

You will also need an internet cable which you can buy at any PC store. Thats pretty much it really oh and buy Battlefield 2 modern combat if you want the best online experience for the PS2.

Well, i have my Ps2 functioning online, and it's doing really great. (This is for the original Ps2, the fat one)

The Ps2 Online has 2 types of online modes, depending of your internet speed, which means, if it's lower (Lower than at least 8MB) You can't work Ps2 at the same time with the computer's internet. (If you want this mode, i can actually write the PS2 configuration in here, in the next post)

And the secound type, you can work fine with both ps2 and computer at the same time, which requires a diferent PS2 configuration. (Which i can write this configuration in the next post =P)

What you really need to work with ps2 online?

.First of all, an internet connection

.A Ps2 modem

.An Ethernet cable

.If you don't handle yet a router, just buy it.

(You need a router, because the router it's the only modem capable to conectmultiply gadgets in the same time to the internet, as long as the simple modem normaly first given along side you bought your internet, it is only a connection to your computer)

In my internet, i didnt need any program installed in my computer and no 192.168.1.1. page defenitions were and are required. You just need to configurate in any of PS2 online games that apropriate configuration!
