Which Final Fantasy had the sadest ending in your opinion? (Poll Inside!!!)

haha, same. kind of. i have Final Fantasy VII, IX, X and XII and haven't beaten any of them. well the closest i have to beating any of them is X with 20 hours. then XII with around 10 (im still playing it though). right now i'm stuck though, so i havent played for around a week.

That is pretty sad. Why own them if your not even gonna finish them? The endings are usually the bread and butter of the entire game.

lol I'm having a FF marathon right now (still on FFI). Having a lot of fun. But noticing that some of the ealier games have sad parts and endings too.

I know women who have told me they literally balled thier eyes out at the end of FFX. Yes, FFX is that good. Shu76

lol I'm a woman and I didn't cry...my eyes got a little teary, but not much else. But I've talked to GUYS who have said they cryed at the end :P

I understand women, especially if it's that very special time of the month where it's bad to plug the hole. But if any you out guys out there cried at that stupid ending, thank God I don't know where you live. Because bad things will happen to you if I did.

Spoiler for FF7, FF8, FF 10, FF x-2

Final Fantasy 8 was the sadest since you never really know if Squall lived, the last scene you see him after a 360 spin on Rinoa who was alone. It could be an illusion and another proof is Squall changed his name in Kingdom Hearts. The only other person to have their name changed is Aeris who everyone knows dies.

Final Fantasy 10 wasn't that sad since in the end after the credits, you see him come back and this was confirmed with the ending of Final Fantasy X-2.

Actually, I'm curious as to what the game did to him to create such hatred towards the game and the people that liked it.

I'll go with FFX as well, because I felt that it had a slightly less happy ending than the rest of the other FF's.

oh yeah i'd say FFx was the saddest buutt, i didn't play the seventh nor the eigthieth to the so i couldn see but really putting FF IX on the list, I mean, it was a really nice ending nathing like sad well the fact that kuja died when he was not such a bad guy xD

it's a pity i didn't play the VII and VIII to the end but well they came defectuous (i don't know if it's written like that xD)

and FF XII has a nice ending, or not so so nice, maybe i'd say STRANGE =O I hate when my characters I used for so long get separated, i hate it, i just want them to be happy and keep killing monsters and gaining lvl :P
