Who are already satified with the previous gen's graphics?

i am pretty satisfied with last gen consoles ps2/xbox/gc but i am really considering buying a xbox 360 since the core package since itis a price i can afford and halo 3 is right around the cornertrick6952

Let me slap some sense to all of you who think graphics aren't as important as the "gameplay." Try playing Need for Speed Carbon onthis gen consoles and then compare that experience to the PS2 version (old gen); it's not the same. Graphics is part of the reason and theupgraded graphics makes the experience moreimmersive.

If you're going to say graphics isn't important then don't pick the SNES as an example because you know what? The SNES had some of the best 2d graphics ever. If you were happy with atari graphics or wolfenstein graphics, maybe even PS1 graphicsthen that may be a case but don't go picking the SNES as an example. Lots of PS1 games look like garbage, so it surprises me that some say they would be happy with PS1 graphics. There's people who would play tekken 3 over the newer tekkens?

Besides graphics, the newer gen machines offer lots of other things like smarter AI, physics, etc. Games aren't limited and will tend to be less linear.

satisfied? we are human...human never satisfied with what they already had. to be honest i still admired a lot of games from prev gen consoles. just bought360 last march with some great titles. luckily i have chances to experienced and own almost all of these prev consoles. will definitely buy ps3/wii in another 1 or 2 year..

i like the idea of upgrading those graphics, sound and special effects but at the same time still enthusiastic to play mario series, sonic series, street fighter series, winning-11, ff series, gta series, gt2/3, street of rage (aka bare knuckles) seriesand much more! sometime, it's not just the gameplay, graphic or whatsoever. it is just a matter of time and situation. what you really want to playduring your free time. it's like making love with a lot of different ppl...pheww (^_^) (sorry if this comparison sounds too dirty).

for me, i do care about the cost. the cheaper the better. and the second thing that came out from my mind is the stiffness of the console itself. the stronger and robust the product the better.
