Hello. I'm pretty much decided I want to buy a PS3 come January.

What I want to know is, does the extra 40GB make a difference? I really have no idea, like, how much does each game occupy/need?
Is 120 enough? WHat do you guys think?

Thanks!

Well considering they're both the same price, you might as well go with the 160GB. You'd be surprised how quickly you can fill up that space too so the extra 40GB doesn't hurt.

it depends on if your planning on putting alot of stuff in your Hard drive. I have an 80 GB and am not even close to being full, but i don't put Demoes on their and when i get a PSN game I delete it after beating the game, or stop playing the game. But when i got my PS3 the 80 gig was the biggest you could get. If i were to buy one now i would probably get the 320 gig move bundle, but you asked about 120 or 160 so i would get the 160

If I were you, I'd purchase the cheaper of the two systems then just swap out the hard drive for a 320gb hard drive (or 250gb, but at least with 320gb you know you'll never run out of space) for 50 bucks and sell the old hard drive. Much better idea in my opinion. :D

Better yet, he can use the 120GB and buy a 500-640GB for $50, as they go on sale frequently. Even with 120GBs of space, I still have 30-40GB left. If you expect to download a lot of movies and games, you should probably go with a 250 of 320GB HDD. Anything higher isn't worth it unless you get it for cheap.

One thing you should note is that the newer models(160GB and 320GB) are better at cooling than the older models.
