I got the 60gb but that was a good idea to take the extra money and buy a big Harddrive. I wish I would've thought of that.

I've got a 20gig on day 1 and that was the one I wanted it has all I need. Plus I've upgraded the harddrive to 80gigs, plus it has the emotion chip even though the only ps2 games I've played on it has been godofwar2 and finalfantasy12 I never know I might want to play other ps2 games and its nice to know I can play them all.

Nothing wrong with the 20gig it has blu-ray, plays ps2 game and ps3 games I can play online has 4 usb slots for my flash drives and harddrives, could buy a wireless adaptor for the internet, but I like mines hardwired you get less lag that way;)

Happy here. 20 gb is enough for me. I added the linksys game adapter to make it wireless. It works great with no lag.

I'd say that if you can find a 20 gig still out there, and you don't need wifi, then that's probably the best value of all. Definitely much better than the currently gimped 40 gig system IMO.

why is the 40gb gimped. it has wifi 20 more gigs of Drive space. i mean only 20 USB slots. No BC but if you have a ps2 no need for it

I was happy with the 20gig. Kindof sucks that I bought it early in febuary, and the ps3 cost has came down. Though, it has the emotion engine, and thats really big to me. I'd be happy with any system, as long as its NOT the 40gig. No ee chip, means less time playing the system. Ps2 games just look that much better on it. Still haven't bought a bigger hard drive for it yet either.

I am going with the 20gig in the next two weeks. I don't have any ps1 or ps2 games, so BC isn't a factor for me at all. With the saved money, I'll get a usb hub and a bigger HDD.

Your wrong. They all did. At first, sony announced at e3 it wouldn't. Though a month or so before launch, they added it in. Smart move too, because it would screw anyone trying to buy blu-ray movies in the future. The person I bought the ps3 from last febuary, was off ebay who had a launch 20gig. It has hdmi, so I couldn't see why none would.

I still don't know why people have the misconception that the 20GB doesn't have an HDMI port. Only thing it lacks is wireless (and the extra slots which IMO are useless).

picked up the 20 gb last xmas because one was sitting at a walmart 3 days before xmas and I just had to have it.....will upgrade the HD if the 20gb gets too small....I also didn't like the chrome finish on the 60gb model....I like the all black shiny look, my favorite system looks wise ever when standing vertically.

The only reason I got a 20 gig is b/c I got it for $275. It was pretty much a steal.

I think the 20 GB is the best version to have. There isn't a lot of reason to have a console be wireless for me (It's wirelessly accessible from my PSP through my router anyway), memory card slots are just stupid and with the extra money I bought a 160 GB drive to put in. Now that it seems Sony is backing out of being backwards compatible as much as they can it's become an even better buy.

No, you're wrong, this article was posted 6 months before the PS3 came out, and I have a launch 20 gig that has HDMI on it. If you don't own one, don't vouch for what is on it. After reading that article, everything they said is wrong except the lack of wireless, they even went so far as to say that a Sony suit was wrong! They say it has no HDMI, needs wired controllers, can't upgrade the memory - all with no evidence to prove it. What a crappy site!
