Sony releases their updates in secret most of the time, they would give the offical word after they release the update, anyway this sounds like its comming straight from Sony Gamers Day.  The article talks about how loco roco wasnt present during gamers day and also talks about socom for PS3.  This atricle sounds legit to me, even though the translation is bad.

They are probably referring to the Euro PS store that doesn't have much of anything.

There is a new Syphon filter coming. This is going to be downloadable but they will also allow it to be purchased on blu-ray disc. This game, however, will be entirely made for downloadable content.

I'm not sure what that last part means... I'm not 100% good at Dutch, I can only read it because it resembles other languages I know.

This would make PERFECT sense, get to the next full number version, right after a big event.

We were on 1.51 and went to 1.54 because of what was being brought into that update. So if 2.00 does come out tomorrow it will be because it's a big update which it is that is why it's jumping by .30. And if this is true that's great news I also like the new MMO idea coming out.

Dave Jaffe will be setting up his own studio which aims completely at making games for the PlayStation Network.

Factor5 and Sony online entertainment are working together on an MMO. The MMO is titled Relay and look to be a western styled sci-fi world. A trailer of 15 second trailer was shown and that's about it.

A new Syphon filter is coming soon to the PSN. The game will be episodic in nature. It will come to Blu-ray as well but with a few of the initial chapters. The game will be entirely designed for downloadable content. With new maps, levels and weapons. Only on the PSN.

Stardust HD and nucleus were shown, two games which seem to similar in vein to Blast Factor.

A new topdown arcade shooter was shown. The game has no title as of yet but has a fell of Capcom's classic 1942.

PS3

Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune it was shown according to many there it was the game of the show, looking fantastic and playing like a dream.

Lair will release in august and a demo will be on the network in June.

Eye or Judgement was shown. Works perfectly with the new PlayStation Eye, which was also present.

Insomniacs Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools or Destruction was shown. The game performed terribly and there were serious problems with the framerate. These were under the 30 frames per second.

Ninja Theory's Heavenly Sword was also shown and from accounts was looking very rough, even at this stage in time which is 90% done. Many were left unimpressed.

Sony worldwide has 40 games in development. Some of these games will be later presented this year at E3.

The development of Wipeout is going very well and will be running at 60 frames per second. It's slated for a 2008 release.
