I read the other day that the new 40 GB ps3's are not compatible with PS1 and PS2 games, but my friend says that they work fine. Do PS1 & PS2 games work on the 40 GB ps3?h
with the 40 gig ps3, only ps1 games will work. however, all other ps3's will play both ps1 and ps2 games. just go with the 80 gig. it has twice the memory, plays your ps2 games, plus comes with a free copy of motorstorm (a 60 dollar value). I think it's worth it.
