5 bucks for RE5??!!

LOL that is gamestop for you. I remember when I tried to trade in GTA4 6 months after release and they only wanted to give me 14 bucks for it, yet they were selling it for 40.GrandJury

Gamestop, EB or whatever the HECK YOU WANT TO CALL THEM HAVE LOST THEIR FREAKIN MINDS!!! Am I missing something here...didn't RE5 sell well enough to have higher trade in value then that??? I'd rather throw it out the widow before giving Gamestop the satisfaction of PIMPING another gamer!!! That's my rant(I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER ):P...NOW, I'm not talking about the employees in general, just the trade in policy.What are your thought's??

$10 bucks is just about all I would want to pay for the game anyways. But I'll agree that they give way too little for trade ins. Which is why I've never traded in there.

MarcRecon, sorry man but Gamestop has to make profit too. If you can find a local gamestore (not Gamestop or a big retailer), they might be able to give a bit more back to you. I stopped going to Gamestop to trade/buy used movies or games. I rather go to my local gamestore http://www.toysnjoys.com/ to support the little guys.

Worst case scenario, put your Resident Evil 5 up for sale on Craigslist. I don't know how much Gamestop sells used RE5s but price it at that on Craigslist & I'm sure you'll have a buyer.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone but I'm just going to keep it. I'm not desperate for the cash, I just wasn't playing it and I wanted to use the credit to go toward MW2.

It's a joke. That's all. They'll say "$5". The game is $69.99 new and right beside it, is a used copy for $68.99. Take that store with a grain of salt my friend.

They have too many copies in stock I guess. Trade value drops. Least I'm pretty sure that's how it works. raven_squad

find someone to sell it to but for the love of god dont take that great of a loss
